The Gospel is our center. Jesus Christ and His Gospel are the foundation of every sermon, ministry, relationship, and decision. We keep Him central in both what we say and how we serve.
Friends Baptist Church
Rooted in God’s Word. Centered on Jesus. Lived out together.
The Bible is our authority, Jesus Christ is the Head of the church, and His Gospel is central to our ministry. These convictions shape our mission, guide our vision, and give meaning to our values.
To lead people to See the Way, Know the Truth, Live the Life.
Our mission describes why we exist: to help people follow Jesus, know His truth, and put their faith into practice.
To be a church where people experience authentic biblical community, grow in Christ, discover purpose, and make disciples.
Our vision describes the church we seek to become as we live that mission together.

Each value expresses a commitment rooted in the Gospel:
The Gospel is our center. Jesus Christ and His Gospel are the foundation of every sermon, ministry, relationship, and decision. We keep Him central in both what we say and how we serve.
People are our mission. Programs exist to serve people. Every person bears the image of God and deserves to be treated with dignity, whether they are a first-time guest or a longtime member.
Discipleship is our strategy. We help believers grow from conversion toward Christlike maturity through intentional discipleship. We walk with people as they learn to understand Scripture and put their faith into practice.
Relationships are our method. We build authentic, Christ-centered relationships marked by love, trust, and accountability. We make room to know one another and to be known.
Excellence is our offering. We prepare well, pay attention to details, and follow through because serving people well honors the Lord. We give God our best in preparation, stewardship, and service.
Service is our privilege. Leadership is expressed through humble service. We gladly serve one another because Christ first served us, including when the work is ordinary or goes unseen.
Multiplication is our expectation. Healthy disciples make disciples, healthy leaders develop leaders, and healthy churches multiply ministry for future generations. We prepare others to carry the work forward.
