The Bible calls us to be men of character, integrity, and faithfulness—no easy task in a world full of distractions and shifting values. Yet God still calls us to stand firm, lead well, and live lives that honor Him in every area.
At Friends Baptist Church, we believe that strong families, churches, and communities begin with men who are grounded in God’s Word. Our Men’s Ministry exists to equip and encourage men to become who God designed them to be—spiritual leaders, faithful husbands, devoted fathers, and bold witnesses for Christ.
Through meaningful teaching, practical discipleship, and genuine fellowship, we provide opportunities for men to connect, grow, and serve together. Whether it’s through Bible studies, our weekly devotions, or events, our goal is to help every man live with purpose, strength, and unwavering faith.
Join us as we pursue Christ together—real men, real faith, real growth.
Men’s Study: Created to Need a Help Meet
Men, God didn’t design you to lead alone. In Created to Need a Help Meet, Michael Pearl challenges husbands and future husbands to understand God’s purpose for marriage from a biblical perspective. This book emphasizes leadership, responsibility, and the God-given need for a wife’s help in fulfilling your calling.
As we begin this study together, the first four chapters will lay a foundation for understanding how God designed marriage to work—and how we, as men, are called to lead with wisdom, humility, and strength.
🔥 Join us Monday, April 6 at 7PM on the BLOC for a night around the bonfire and grill. Come ready for good food, honest conversation, and practical encouragement as we grow together as men of God.
Make sure to register so we know you're coming!
