Plan Your Visit

Our Sunday worship services last approximately 75 minutes.

From the moment you arrive, you’ll be welcomed by friendly people who are excited you’re here. Whether you have a church background or not, our goal is to help you feel comfortable, encouraged, and connected.

• First, expect a friendly and grace-filled culture—Guests usually say, “Wow, I’ve never been to a church like this…”
• Second, expect some help along the way—Greeters will welcome you and help you find the nurseries and a place to sit.
• Third, expect to find a place where you fit— Your family will find a class designed just for them. From nurseries and children’s ministries to student ministry and adult groups, every ministry is thoughtfully designed to help you grow spiritually and connect with others.
• Fourth, expect meaningful worship—At Friends, we worship Jesus. The music is meaningful, enjoyable, and refreshing. Our goal is worship, not entertainment, and we believe the music will touch you deeply.
• Fifth, expect a practical Bible message— Our pastoral staff will preach a message that is practical and relevant to the 21st century that will apply God’s wisdom to everyday life situations. The Bible has a lot of the answers you’ve been longing for, and it’s critical for your journey through life. (Visit our Sermons page to hear some of our recent sermons…)
• Sixth, expect to be impacted for the better—Our goal is simple to lead you to See the Way, Know the Truth and Live the Life. Whatever you’re facing, wherever you come from, whatever decisions you are up against, God’s Word, God’s grace, and God’s love through the person of Jesus Christ will make a massive difference. Honestly, you’ve never been so loved!

Whether you believe in Jesus or not—have an open mind, come hear God’s Word taught clearly and practically. Investigate who Jesus really is and discover what most religions never tell you about the Bible. Come experience grace in action, and discover the hope that God offers through a relationship, not a religion!

Friends Baptist Church is conveniently located at 1840 Lewisville-Clemmons Road in Clemmons, NC. As you arrive on campus, one of our friendly parking attendants will be happy to help you find a parking space. Then, simply look for the white Welcome Tent, where members of our team will be ready to greet you, answer any questions, and help you find your way around campus.

Starting with an excellent nursery, there is something special for every age child. At every service there is a safe, clean, and staffed nursery for children three years old and under. For children four years old through fifth grade there are fun, friendly, and Bible-centered classes. These classes are staffed with trained, friendly, and well-qualified teachers and helpers who will make church exciting and memorable for your child.

We encourage new parents to register their child before Friends Junction is dismissed during the service. Our greeters will gladly direct you to the right place.

During our morning worship service our children participate in Friends Junction where they have a service geared directly toward their age group.  Just look for the video announcement during the service for their dismissal.  Their first time, we want you to feel comfortable and know where your children are going so we ask that you walk them out and take that opportunity to meet our Children’s Ministry Staff.

Please always remember, our greeters and ushers are located at the front entrance and will gladly help direct and even escort you to the right place.

Absolutely, our teens have an active part in our services as well as a service designed specifically for them during our Midweek gathering on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM.  They also enjoy a Life class on Sunday evenings @ 5 pm where they are able to dig into God’s word.

You will often hear around Friends that “we have an awesome youth group” – we know it is one of the best kept secrets around.  Your teenager would thrive in our youth environment.  We want you to come and check us out!

There is not a dress code at Friends for members or guests. Our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit.

No. While we’d love the opportunity to meet you, we won’t ask you to stand, introduce yourself publicly, or do anything that would make you uncomfortable. We want you to relax, enjoy the service, and get to know us at your own pace.

No. We don’t invite you to Friends for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God’s Word, and a place where we lead you to See the Way, Know the Truth, and Live the Life. Please don’t feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.
