Resurrection Sunday
This is the DAY!
Scripture Focus:
“He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.” — Matthew 28:6
Reflection:
The stone is rolled away. The tomb is empty. Death is defeated, and hope is alive. Jesus is risen!
Easter is not the end of the story — it’s the beginning of new life. What seemed like a tragic end on Friday became a glorious victory on Sunday. The silence of Saturday gave way to the shout of resurrection.
The risen Christ walks out of the grave with scars that speak of love and a message that changes everything: “I am alive forevermore.”
No matter how dark your Friday, no matter how long your Saturday, Sunday always comes. Because of Jesus, there is always hope. There is always life. There is always resurrection.
Prayer:
Risen Lord, You are alive — and because of that, I have hope. Thank You for conquering sin, death, and the grave. Help me to walk in resurrection life — with joy, boldness, and faith. Let the power of Your risen life fill every part of mine. Thank you for THIS DAY Amen.
Takeaway Thought:
The tomb is empty. Jesus is alive. And because He lives, so can you.
